Scopes help you control what group of data your admins have access to in the Cloudi-Fi admin interface. For instance, country managers for specific business units or brands can only see reports for the locations they are scoped with.
Locations can belong to one or several scopes. You can add, edit or remove scopes from the location page.
Remember: Identities and visits have the same scope than the location they were registered in.
Portals belong to a single scope.
You can edit your administrators' scopes in the settings page under the administrator panel
Primary and secondary scope: What is the difference?
When you first create an administrator with no scope, the account has no restriction. As soon as you assign a primary scope to the new admin, he will be bound in view and management to the data related to the selected scope.
In addition, you can assign secondary scopes to administrators to further restrict the access to data. While the primary scope is unique, multiple secondary scopes can be defined.
The relationship between primary scope (P) and secondary scopes (Sx) can be detailed such as P AND (S1 OR S2)
Let's see an example:

This is a list of locations and their scopes. Next is a view of matches between administrators and locations

Paul can manage everything since he has no scope
Oscar can manage every hotspot since he has no other restriction
Jessica can manage every location in France
Karl is able to manage every location in France and in China
Emma is restricted to French hotspots only
Gabriel is restricted to French and Chinese hotspots
Adam cannot see anything since no location has a scope of HQ and China
