Cloudi-Fi's newest update offers bug fixes, performance improvements, and new features.
Release date:
April 2nd, 2026 - 10 AM to 2 PM CET (No service interruption expected).
Features and enhancements
Device search module
A dedicated device search module is now available, enabling administrators to precisely locate any device on the network using a wide range of filters (Device Name, IP Address, Hostname, Device Brand, DHCP Lease Status, Locked IP, MAC Address). This makes it significantly faster to find, inspect, and manage individual devices, especially in large-scale deployments.
MAC-Based authentication — Huawei NCE iMaster
Cloudi-Fi now supports MAC-based authentication with Huawei NCE iMaster, expanding compatibility for organizations using Huawei network infrastructure.
For configuration details, refer to the dedicated KB article.
VPN IPSec logs for DHCP tunnels
Administrators can now view and search VPN IPSec tunnel logs directly from the admin interface. This new diagnostic tool provides visibility on IPSec tunnel negotiation attempts. Logs are presented in a human-readable, searchable format to streamline troubleshooting.
For more details, refer to the dedicated KB article.
User accounts page — Beta
A new User Accounts management page has been introduced, giving administrators a centralized view of all registered users. Key capabilities include:
- A consolidated list of recently added or registered users, with key account information and current status displayed at a glance.
- Advanced search and filtering options — administrators can locate specific accounts using multiple criteria or via a quick search bar, significantly reducing the time needed to find and manage users.
- Reset password — administrators can trigger a password reset directly from a user's account, without requiring the user to initiate the process themselves.
- Change profile — administrators can update profile information for any user.
How to enable the Beta:
- Click your profile icon at the bottom-left of the screen, then navigate to My Account.
- Scroll down to the Interface version field and select Beta from the dropdown menu.
- Click Save changes. The new interface will load immediately.
Subscription messaging
Notification messages displayed when subscription usage limits are reached have been revised to distinguish between two distinct states, reducing unnecessary concern for customers.
Previously, the same alert "You exceed your subscription" was shown both when a limit was exactly reached and when it was genuinely exceeded, which could cause confusion or undue alarm.
Security monitoring enhancements
Enhanced detection and monitoring capabilities have been introduced to identify and track suspicious activity patterns across the platform, strengthening the overall security posture.
NAC provider – Entra ID group filtering
Administrators can now restrict and filter the list of groups imported from Microsoft Entra ID within the NAC provider configuration. This allows for more precise control over which groups are synchronized and mapped, simplifying group management.
Bug fixes
- NAC providers were not displaying correctly due to a missing display name field. This has been corrected, and all NAC providers now appear as expected in the interface.
- When a search or filter operation returns no results, a clear and descriptive message is now shown to inform the administrator that no matching records were found, eliminating any ambiguity.
