More Granular Permissions for Administrators
For finer granularity and control, we've upgraded the RBAC, focusing on the network section and support, granting administrators an enriched operational capacity.
- We've improved the Cloudi-Fi Helpdesk with advanced access controls, allowing only permitted users to access.
- Enhanced granularity is now available in DHCP administration. This allows you to specifically tailor administrative rights, providing read or write access to all or a portion of the network section.
- Now, administrators have the option to add MAC addresses and assign security profiles through the Device menu. However, modifications to existing Security Profiles or the VPN configuration for their site remain inaccessible.
The sections affected by this update include:
- Devices
- Activity
- Security Profiles
- Groups Sequencing
- DHCP
Bug fixes
- Alert Messages in Admin UI: Fixed the issue where alert messages were not displayed properly.
- Support for CW Meraki Devices: Synchronization via the Meraki integration wizard now supports all devices, not only MR and MX devices.
- Deleting a Location: Resolved a bug that caused an error when deleting a location.
- Authentication Status: Fixed the issue where the status was showing "Logged in" instead of "Returning" or “Returning Auto."
